Dear Prospective Tenant,
We are pleased to provide some general information regarding Howard County’s first commercial LEED Silver Certified building, the Taylor Village Retail Center in EIIicott City that will be available for tenant fit out fall 2005 and ready for occupancy in winter 2005. We are excited to be offering this property which has been designed from the ground up as an environmentally sound building and site.
As you can see from the rendering, the building will provide a fine center piece for the Taylor Village and the surrounding communities. (See Residential and www.taylorvillage.com) The building will be adjacent to the Taylor Village Home Owners Association facilities which will include a poolhouse and community center, an indoor pool and a seniors only center as well as three outdoor pools, two tennis courts and a tot playground. These facilities will be available for use by the tenants of the Village Retail Center which is part of the Taylor Village Properties and Master Association for the developments.
The Retail Center of approximately 25,000 square feet will have three levels connected by elevator. Located at the center of activity for over 1000 residents in the community, approximately half of the homeowners will be in the immediately adjacent age restricted 55 years and older active senior community. A trolley will help bring residents and the public to the Retail Center, connecting to Main Street, Ellicott City and its tourists as well as to the Route 103 shopping center in the future.
